I had been looking around for a nice little Mini to use as a daily driver, but all of them were from England and had more than their fair share of rust and bad Bondo repairs....

An ad on MiniMania.com led to this Australian Morris Mini Deluxe of uncertain age in nearby Deland, Florida. Though only a rolling shell, it was rust free! Soon after, I brought it home and took most of it down to bare metal...
The body work and painting was done by the multi-talented ISREAL, whose challenge was to remove all the dings on a car that must of sat under a fruit tree for years. Now back home, it's down to reassembling all the new little bits and pieces. An upgraded wiring harness, all the rubber window seals and gaskets plus 8.5" front disc brakes have been installed. I'm still trying to decide on what color for the interior, but that will be the last thing to get done. I'm hoping to have it on the road for SPRING THING if it's at all possible. More pictures will follow.......
